DAY: Friday June 11thSTAGE: Harmony Main Stage (3PM) DAY: Saturday June 12th STAGE: Goddess Grove Community Stage Blending traditonal West African influences with Americana and roots influences, Toubab Krewe has managed to create its own fresh and vibrant sound: "Toubab Krewe has set a new standard for the fusion of rock 'n' roll and West African music" (Afropop Worldwide). Since forming in North Carolina 2005, the magnetic instrumental quintet has won a diverse and devoted following for their passionate embrace of the musical values of traditonal afro-beat music and their magical live performances. They have toured the country and performed at major festivals across North America. The group even traveled to Essakane, Mali the spiritual homeland of Afro Beat music, an experience which plays a leading role in influencing their unique sound.
