Illustrating the perfect underground success story, Slightly Stoopid has risen from humble roots on the Southern California club scene to become one of the most successful independent bands of this decade. Their unique brand of West Coast Dub utilizes a melodic mix of rock and reggae influences that personify the California alternative culture lifestyle and has put them at the forefront of the national Indy Rock scene. In 2009 the band's profile reached new heights as they headlined a wildly successful national amphitheater tour that featured Snoop Dogg and Stephen Marley--drawing over 12,000 fans per concert on the west coast dates! For their Harmony Festival debut they will be performing an electric set on Saturday and a very rare acoustic set on Sunday afternoon!

Slightly Stoopid are lead by dual front-men Miles Doughty (Guitar, Bass, Vocals) and Kyle McDonald (Guitar, Bass, Vocals), who created their own label, Stoopid Records, in the early 2000’s. These West coast DUB/Rock pioneers later solidified their live line up by adding musicians Ryan ‘RyMo’ Moran (Drums) and Oguer 'OG' Ocon (Congas, Percussion, Harp, Vocals) from the B Side Players, as well as C-Money (Trumpet, Keyboard) and Dela (Saxophone) from John Browns Body.

The buzz surrounding the group continues to increase with each successive tour and album release and their combined record sales have now topped over 700,000 units.
