Harmony Festival is once again proud to offer camping!

(NOTE FOR RV CAMPERS - Vehicles longer than 18'' must be camped in the RV area. Download the RV camping form for 2011 here.)

  1. ENTRANCE & GATE HOURS

All vehicles must go through the Bennett Valley Check-In / Will Call for ticketing and vehicle registration first before being directed to the campground entrance of the Fairgrounds.
The Bennett Valley Check-In/Will Call will open for camping credentials at 12:00 pm on Friday June 10th.
(DIRECTIONS: Exit off Hwy 12 and follow the TO CHECK-IN / WILL CALL signs.)
Additional campground information will be provided to you at the Bennett Valley Check-in/Will Call area when you check in.

2. CAMPING TICKETS

Whole Festival Passes with Camping or All Weekend Passes with Camping must be purchased in order to camp at the 2011 Festival.
Camping pass upgrades will be available at the door, subject to availability.
Camping tickets are available online in advance as part of a Whole Festival Pass or ALL Weekend Pass or at the gate (subject to availability). Vehicle fees will be collected at the Bennett Valley Check-In / Will Call.

3. ABSOLUTELY NO ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED!

Assistance animals as allowed under the ADA rules are the only animas allowed on at Harmony Festival. Be sure to have all applicable paperwork and identification for your assistance animal to prevent removal from the property.
Be aware that County Animal Control officers may break your car window to liberate animals, as well as remove any animal left tied to a car, in a tent, or other objects. All animals found tied up on or outside the Harmony Festival grounds will be immediately impounded by the local SPCA.
ANIMAL OWNERS WILL BE CITED IN ALL CASES AND ARE LIABLE FOR SAID CITATIONS.
Animal owners are LIABLE FOR ANY EXPENSES INCURRED by Harmony Festival, Inc., its staff, board member, subcontractors, vendors, or volunteers for the removal of any animal.

4. CAMPERS ARRIVAL

After leaving the Bennett Valley Check-In / Will Call with your wristbands and vehicle pass, all camping patrons will be directed to the Aston Ave. Camping Gate entrance.
(DIRECTIONS: After registering you will be directed to follow the “To Camping” signs down Brookwood Avenue to Aston Avenue, where the Camping Gate entrance is located.)
No in-and-out privileges for vehicles.
If you need to leave in your vehicle during the Festival, you will need to re-park in the overflow parking lot across Aston Ave. when you return.
On Sunday (or when you need to end your stay at the Festival) you will be allowed to re-enter in order to gather your belongings.
Upon arrival, if traffic is backed up, please be patient and remain in your car.
Also, please note that all persons in the vehicle must have a camping wristband in order to enter the campgrounds.
NOTE: Bring your Radio Flyer wagons, luggage with wheels, carts or even baby strollers/joggers. Anything with wheels will help you move your camping gear load to the campsite you select.
Car and tent camping (next to your car) is limited and is available on a first come-first served basis.

5. RVs, LARGE RIGS, PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION VEHICLES AND SPECIAL NEEDS

Any vehicle over 18’ that will be slept in or serve as your home on wheels will be considered an RV.
RV spaces may be purchased and reserved in the Horseman’s Lot/Quiet Camping area across Aston Ave, just west of the camping gate entrance.
RV camping is handled by the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds’ office directly. Full hook-ups are available.
We recommend you make your RV camping registration early, as availability is limited.
DO NOT arrive in an RV or oversized vehicle without a reservation, as we will not be able to accommodate you.

Quiet hours in the Horseman’s lot are from 10:00pm through 9:00am, daily.
Due to insurance restrictions, no personal transportation vehicles such as ATV’s, golf carts, motorbikes or scooters or any motorized personal transportation devices are allowed on the property.
ADA camping areas are available for those patrons who need accommodations. Any patron requiring special needs, please contact us in advance at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will do the best we can to accommodate you.
NOTE: NO BOX TRUCKS WILL BE ADMITTED TO GENERAL CAMPING. Registered vendors are excluded and will be directed to park in the vendors’ lot.

6. FIRE, FIREWORKS, FORGET ABOUT IT!

Flame, candles, fires and torches are not allowed.
The use of propane camp stoves and lanterns is permitted, but only in the open. Do not use in tents, buildings and barns or underneath overhangs, eves or roofs.
FIREWORKS ARE DANGEROUS AND ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Santa Rosa Fire Department personnel will prosecute violators.
Please observe and follow all no parking signage and marked fire lanes.
Vehicles or camping structures found in marked fire lanes are subject to removal or towing at the owners expense.

7. NO WEAPONS, NO NITROUS OXIDE, NO ILLEGAL DRUGS OR PARAPHERNALIA OF ANY KIND

WEAPONS, NITROUS OXIDE, DRUGS AND PARAPHERNALIA of any kind will be confiscated and violators will be promptly removed from the venue without refund of tickets or camping fees.
Any and all citations or costs affiliated with these items are the sole responsibility of the offender.

8. SAFETY ISSUES

Drink plenty of water!
If you are going to consume alcohol, please do so wisely.
Wear plenty of sunscreen.
Carry and use a flashlight at night. Bring extra batteries.
DO NOT leave any valuables in your camping area. For additional protection, consider deterring un-wanted entry by using a small combination lock (backpack size) on your tent.
Camping can be very fun and communal. Watch out for your neighbors. If you notice someone who does not belong in a tent, exhibiting suspicious behavior, or notice a suspicious package, immediately notify onsite security, your camping host, or the Camping Coordinator.
Harmony Festival, Inc., its board members, staff, contractors, vendors, or volunteers are not responsible for any loss, stolen, or damaged property.

9. DRUM CIRCLES AND EXCESSIVE NOISE

While we are all here to have fun and a rousing good time, there is a time and place for that -- all during the day and into the early evening on the main meadow and in the late night venues, but PLEASE…NO drumming, amplified music or loud story telling between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM in the camping.
Please be considerate to your sleeping neighbors.
Do not run generators in the camping between 10:00 PM and 9:00 PM and please be considerate of your neighbors when running a generator during all other hours.

10. POTABLE WATER, RESTROOMS, AND SHOWERS

Potable drinking water available throughout the Festival grounds.
Help reduce the number of disposable bottles used at the event and use refillable, reusable water bottles instead, as much as possible.
Permanent restroom facilities (porcelain thrones) and portable toilets (which will be cleaned daily!) are available.
Hot showers are also available on-site and are open 24 hrs. Check your program guide or look for the signage for shower locations. Hot water is limited, so please be considerate of your neighbors and shower quickly!

11. WEATHER AND CONDITIONS

June in Santa Rosa can be warm to hot during the day and warm to cool at night.
Winds can pick up and at times, so it is advised that all tents, tarps, sunshades or temporary canopies be weighted and tied down. The use of tent stakes is prohibited.

12. CAMP-SITE DESCRIPTIONS/GROUP CAMPING

There is a full range of camping sites available, from grassy areas to open space spots on level dirt. Some are shaded with overhangs for shade or full roofs. Others are not shaded at all. The largest, flattest and most shaded camping area is the Cow Palace, which is located directly across from the main festival field. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please visit the campground information desk in the check-in area for more campground information.
(NOTE: Early arriving tent campers may ‘save’ tent footprints for later-arriving friends by erecting their tent(s) for them. This of course requires some preplanning on the part of the friends, but can be worth it is you want to ensure being able to camp near each other. Space saving of tent footprints will be allowed if the actual tent is used to ‘save’ the space. Attempts to ‘save’ tent space by using any other items, such as caution tape, ropes, tarps, crates, boxes or any other objects will NOT be allowed.)

13. VENDING

Our Craft and Import Village and a diverse food court will be available for your enjoyment.
NO UNAUTHORIZED VENDING - This will be strictly enforced.

14. MEDICAL AND SAFETY

On-site First Aid and security will be available 24 hours a day from Friday, June 10th at 12:00 PM through Monday, June 13 at 12:00 PM. Please be sure to locate the First Aid booth via the onsite maps upon your arrival.
DO NOT leave valuables in your tent. A small lock on your outer-door zipper will also help deter unwanted entry.
Harmony Festival, Inc., its board members, staff, contractors, vendors, or volunteers are not responsible for any loss, stolen, or damaged property.
Contact the Camping Office located adjacent to Otter Park (on the Festival Map) immediately with any safety and security concerns or problems (including camping space disputes).

15. DEPARTURE

Everyone will be required to leave by 12:00 Noon on Monday, June 13th. There are NO exceptions.
Please take some time to help clean the property and help us to LEAVE ONLY FOOTPRINTS.
